LTE: Vote no on 1 & 2

To the Journal editor:

Wolves were persecuted to the brink of extinction. Fortunately, we realized before it was too late that they needed our help and protection.

Their numbers increased to the point that they were removed from the endangered species list. Sadly, the persecution began again. Wolves were made out to be demons. Lies were told to stir up fear. Crooked politicians bowed to the wolf-haters and thwarted the will of the people who tried to prevent the slaughter and allow all citizens a vote on the fate of the wolves.

Please stand up for the wolves and vote no on Proposals 1 & 2. Protect the wolves and your right as a Michigan citizen to vote on wildlife issues.

Don't let the fear mongers, liars and crooks win.
